Overview:
The Web Content Specialist supports the ongoing maintenance and accuracy of the company website. This role is responsible for uploading, updating, and organizing web content in WordPress, working closely with the Senior Web Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to ensure all pages remain current, high-quality, and aligned with brand and campaign requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Upload, edit, and publish content in WordPress, including pages, posts, images, and digital assets.
- Implement website updates and content changes based on direction from the Senior Web Manager and Digital Marketing Manager.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and correct formatting of all published content.
- Maintain site hygiene by updating outdated information, removing obsolete assets, and identifying broken links.
- Support basic SEO|GEO best practices through proper tagging, metadata updates, and structured formatting.
- Assist with landing page updates, navigation changes, and campaign-related content refreshes.
- Perform basic quality assurance checks to ensure content displays correctly across devices.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather assets, confirm details, and manage approvals.
- Document and track website updates for internal reporting and version control.
Required Characteristics & Competencies:
- Required to have basic Asana and Word Press skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong accountability and ownership of assigned tasks.
- Highly responsible, reliable, and detail oriented.
- Able to take clear instruction and follow established processes.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive in identifying issues and recommending process improvements.
Salary
Pay for this internship is $20hr, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
